This two-bedroom apartment did exactly that. In a boutique block of nine, it offered leafy outlooks, good light, open-plan living and the practical bonus of a lock-up garage. That combination made it feel settled and straightforward, which is often what first-home buyers need more than anything else.
Its location added another layer. Close to Allman Park, Summer Hill’s cafes and strong transport links, it gave Rachel a lifestyle she could enjoy immediately while still being the kind of asset that makes sense on the fundamentals. Nothing showy, nothing forced, just a very good first buy.
There’s a lot to be said for a straightforward win. Good light, a boutique block, a lock-up garage and a location that gives you options. It didn’t need a huge backstory. It just needed to be the right apartment, bought well.
