Finding ‘The One’ just in time for the holidays

Kevin was instrumental in controlling a high pressure mid-auction negotiation to secure the sale. Little doubt I would have paid more without his guidance on the day.
A deadline, a recent sale and a high-pressure auction isn’t exactly the easiest mix. This Balmain purchase worked because the strategy stayed clear when the emotion could easily have taken over.
This was one of those searches where the buyer already knew a lot. Anna understood the local market and had a good handle on what she wanted, but she wanted a second brain on renovation scope, value and auction strategy. Our engineering mindset helped there, especially when it came to validating what could actually be done to the property and what it might cost.
On the day, that preparation mattered. In a high-pressure auction negotiation, We helped keep the process controlled and disciplined, which Anna has said almost certainly saved her money. Getting the right home before Christmas was the headline. Getting it without drifting past the smart number was the bigger win.
There was also a fair bit of technical and strategic thinking in this one around renovation scope, cost reality and auction-day discipline. That’s often what buyers need most once they already know the suburb and the broad type of home they want.
